Making the List: Sitback are Finalists in the 2022 Acquia Engage Awards
At Sitback, we’re committed to being the very best at what we do, and to delivering exceptional experiences for every client. That’s why we’re so thrilled to have been named a finalist in the 2022 Acquia Engage Awards. It’s proof positive that we’re on track toward our goals.
Every year, the Acquia Engage Awards celebrate the very best work done using the Acquia platform and Acquia products. The awards showcase organizations that have gone above and beyond to create the world’s most ambitious digital projects.
This year’s Engage Awards drew a record number of submissions, with over 120 entries, spanning a variety of industries and regions. Contenders submit entries for a specific award in one of three categories. Sitback submitted an entry for the “Building a better tomorrow” award in the “Dreamers” category.
A panel of distinguished judges with trusted expertise in DXP and digital marketing carefully reviews every Engage Award submission, evaluating them across 4 criteria: on functionality, integration, performance, and overall user experience. The judges select just three finalists per category.
Our submission told the story of AdaptNSW, the leading source of credible information on climate change for NSW, produced by the Office of Energy and Climate Change, New South Wales Treasury (OECC). The site’s stated goal is to ‘inform and empower communities, businesses, households and government to adapt to climate change’, providing a valuable resource at a time when it is most needed.
The former AdaptNSW website was visually and technically dated, and didn’t address the needs of its evolving audience groups. Sitback worked with the AdaptNSW team to migrate the website onto the Drupal CMS, bringing the design in line with the NSW Government Digital Design System, improving accessibility, and enhancing the overall user experience for the diverse stakeholder groups using the site to seek information on climate change.
Since the launch of the new AdaptNSW website, OECC have already seen improvements in a number of key engagement metrics, including a 51% increase in total users, a 21% increase in page views, and most importantly, a 22% increase in time on page as well as increased downloads of key documents and resources.
Of course, we think this is a big deal. But you don’t have to take our word for it. As Mike Sullivan, President and CEO of Acquia explains, “Every year, we see higher levels of innovation, creativity, and dedication in Engage Awards submissions. Our 2022 finalists are truly our most outstanding yet. Being named a finalist is an incredible accomplishment, and every organization represented on the list is truly among the very best at what they do.”
We’re proud of everyone at Sitback and the AdaptNSW team for their hard work and their accomplishments. Being named an Engage Awards finalist is welcomed recognition. While we can’t predict whether we’ll make the winners’ list or not, we can say that it truly is an honour to be nominated.
